Bamboo multiplex var Silverstripe flowered and set seed in my garden after the plant became stressed during the summer. I saved some of the seed, then fertilized and watered the plant, added soil to the container, and the plant continues to grow, though with reduced vigor.

I'm presently attempting to germinate the seed.
