A friend of Sharon's mused about wanting to record a 1 minute tribute to a man who created and kept going the American Indian Film Institute annual festival. Sharon asked if we could help her and I said yes. This started chain that continues to this day, with unpredictable effects.
We set up our living room as an impromptu studio by adding lights, controlling background sound, using our old DV camera and a good Sennheiser mic. We made the tribute video in our living room and made some chicken soup in the kitchen (to help with the friend's cold), a combined gift.
Near San Antonio Road is the campus of the Institute of Noetic Sciences that is hosting an exhibition of artist Toni Littlejohn's works. At the opening, Toni spoke about her work, poets shared their work, and old friends reconnected in a beautiful setting.
