Sharon Skolnick-Bagnoli

is a visual and word artist. She earned her bachelor's degree in industrial design from Pratt Institute in New York City and her master's degree in education from the University of Hawaii, and works as a graphic designer, book designer, and editor. Her own published books include Dreams of Tamalpais (1989, Last Gasp, San Francisco); Shiny Objects (2009, Beatitude Press, Berkeley), and Colored Edges (2015, Spaceframe Press, San Rafael). In 2004, Sharon married videographer Bruce Bagnoli. Their studio, Visigraf Communications & Design, (www.visigraf.com) offers affordable solutions for print and web, books, presentations, and video, from a rambling white house in a bamboo grove in Marin County, Northern California, with three cats and two tortoises.
